In this walking tour, you would explore Galle Fort with a resident. The Galle Fort is a living monument to Sri Lanka’s colonial past. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Galle Fort is probably one of the best examples of a fortified city built by Europeans in this part of the world. Your storyteller for this experience is Fazal, a 7th-generation Galle Fort Resident. He will share stories from Adam to Ibn-Batuta to the arrival of the Colonizers.

On this tour, you will visit some iconic landmarks located within the fort, such as the Dutch reformed church, old Dutch library, Portuguese black fort, clock tower, mosque, queens house, Saint burial place, and more.
