Cycle along paddy fields and lakes in this Galle countryside cycle tour, en route stop for a king coconut served under an ambalama. This cycle tour will end at a stylish luxury boutique hotel set in a tea estate/ cinnamon plantation overlooking Koggala Lake. Have lunch at the boutique hotel, enjoy a swim, and with the option of a full body massage at the spa.
Alternatively, you can start this activity from the boutique hotel with a swim, lunch, and optional spa massage. Thereafter, in the evening cycle to the beach in time for a sunset swim.
The bicycles are mostly imported lightweight aluminium hardtail mountain bikes with shimano parts but we also have a range of upright bikes, ladies step through bikes, kids bikes, some electric bikes and even baby seats available.
We would recommend trainers, shorts and a T-shirt to cycle in but if you’re comfortable cycling in flip flops as our guides are then they are fine. No shirtless cycling please.
