About This Activity

The history of the Dambulla cave temple dates back to the 1st century BC and is embellished with sculptures and paintings of Lord Buddha and other Gods, this is one of the most impressive cave temples in all of Asia. The Dambulla Cave Temple or sometimes referred to as the Golden Temple is a World Heritage Site. It gets its name from the dozens of gilded statues that adorn its interiors.
