Explore the countryside in the cultural triangle with this hot air ballooning over Sigiriya excursion. As you gently leave the bonds of earth, you will float effortlessly over jungles, lakes, and waterways as day breaks with the awakening of wildlife, you may see elephants roaming freely, a variety of birds, wildlife, water buffaloes standing in the paddy fields and monkeys swinging from the trees.
Collection from your Hotel in Sigiriya & Habarana (pickup at 4:45AM), Dambulla (5:00AM) or Kandalama (5:15AM) will be provided.
Your pilot will give you a safety briefing before take-off and tell you everything for a safe and enjoyable balloon ride.
The flights has a duration of 1hours plus or minus 10 minutes, depending on weather conditions and terrain.
After landing, celebrate with a traditional glass of Champagne, juice, water and cake.
Travel back to your hotel by car or minibus.
Due to safety reasons, pregnant ladies and infants are not allowed in the basket
Ballooning is weather dependent and can be cancelled at the launch site. There will be no charge for weather cancellations and a full refund will be made.
