Day 1: Arrival at BIA and transfer to Negombo Beach
Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), your dedicated chauffeur guide, who will also be your trusted driver and local expert throughout your entire journey, will warmly welcome you. Your first destination is the serene Negombo Beach, where you’ll have the opportunity to unwind and adapt to the local climate.
Day 2 to 4: Exploring the Ancient Cities
Over the course of the next three days, you’ll explore, at your own pace, some of Sri Lanka’s most remarkable cultural sites. Your itinerary includes visits to the Dambulla Cave Temple, the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the historical Polonnaruwa Ancient City and a captivating Village trail experience in Sigiriya. You have the option of heading for a Jeep Safari in Minneriya National Park.
Day 5 & 6: The Hill Capital of Kandy
Over the next two days, your itinerary includes visits to the renowned Temple of the Tooth Relic, a leisurely exploration of the Royal Botanical Gardens, a visit to a spice garden to discover the secrets of local flavors, an immersive experience at a traditional craftsman’s workshop, and an evening filled with cultural delights as you enjoy a vibrant dance show.
Day 7 & 8: Scenic Ella
You’ll embark on an unforgettable train journey from Kandy to Ella, which promises breathtaking views along the way. While in Ella, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a tea factory, marvel at Sri Lanka’s stunning waterfalls, embark on a light trek to the captivating Mini Adam’s Peak viewpoint, and discover the architectural marvel of the Damodara Nine Arch Bridge.
Day 9: Game watching in Yala
Your journey continues to Yala, where you’ll have the option of heading for a thrilling game-watching experience. Depending on the weather conditions and wildlife sightings for the day, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the park either in the morning or early evening, ensuring the best chances for remarkable wildlife encounters.
Day 10 to 14: Unwind on a South Coast Beach
