One of the country’s most beautiful, Laxapana Falls lies on a tributary of the Kelani River near the town of Maskeliya, off Hatton. Its narrow, pencil-like cataract cascades 423 feet in a single drop, making it the eighth-highest fall in the country. With the rugged Seven Virgins mountain range as a backdrop, the falls are a picturesque sight.
