The East Coast Whale watching sailing cruise of Sri Lanka offers the perfect balance of whale watching and water sports packed into a 7-hour adventure. The East Coast cruise is operational from May to September and departs from the Dutch Bay in Trincomalee. The day cruise can be reserved on a shared basis or exclusively for your family, friends, and colleagues on a private cruise on a boat rental basis.
At 6:30 am depart from Dutch Bay towards the deep sea. Along the way your sailing cruise chef serves a freshly prepared breakfast including fresh fruit. When whales are sighted, for best viewing of these incredible creatures, you can head to the bow and upper decks.
After enjoying the whales, you will return to the shore and anchor for few hours in the back bay near Thirukoneswaram Temple. You can enjoy in swimming, snorkelling and stand up paddle-boarding. At 1.30 pm you'll disembark at Dutch Bay.
