Royal Botanical Gardens in a Golf Cart

Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in a golf cart and travel through 140 acres of meticulously landscaped gardens with over 4,000 species of flora. This drive will take you along the paved roads in the gardens and will be approximately 1hour. The Royal Botanical Gardens was once a pleasure garden for Sri Lankan royalty. However, what exits today was mostly laid during the British colonial period. Some interesting highlights include; the spectacular Javan fig tree, enormous stands of Burmese giant bamboo, the different varieties of grass, the double coconut palm, the curios canon ball tree, and an orchid collection.
