About this tour

A fast-paced holiday packed with 12 adventurous activities of easy to medium difficulty. Through action and adventure, you will explore Sri Lanka’s iconic heritage, national parks, nature reserves, rainforests, and tea gardens.

You will climb the twin rocks in Sigiriya. One, to the site of a royal palace of the past, the other, to enjoy the great views of Sigiriya rock and its surroundings. Hop on a bike to explore the medieval capital Polonnaruwa and trek through the lost monastery of Rajagala, which dates to the 1st century BC, to discover many of the unexcavated ruins.

A jeep safari at Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park will bring you closer to tuskers, sloth bears and birds of Sri Lanka. If luck is on your side, a boat safari in Gal Oya, may see you spotting a herd of elephants swimming between the Islands. That’s right! Elephants do swim!

Explore the diverse topographic features of the Island, with two early morning treks offering breathtaking views of the misty distant plains. Steer your path as you cycle along the lush paddy fields of the countryside and shift gears as you meet challenging paths along tropical rainforests. Catch a train on a scenic route through mountain terrain to the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country.

Enjoy the thrills of whitewater rafting in Kitulgala, and should you wish to push your adrenaline limit further, waterfall canyoning, mountain ziplining, and ATV Quad biking through jungles await you.
