Your chauffeur guide will meet you at the airport arrivals hall or your hotel in Negombo/Colombo. Thereafter drive to the ancient cities of the North Central province. Over the next three days, you will visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Polonnaruwa Ancient City, and Dambulla Cave Temple. A jeep safari in Minneriya is optional.
On day 4 travel to Kandy, the last Kingdom of Sri Lanka. During the next two days, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Experience Sri Lankan culture and cuisine with visits to a spice garden, a workshop of a traditional craftsman, and a cultural dance show.
On Day 6 travel from Kandy to Ella via Nuwara Eliya. Be mesmerized by manicured tea gardens and beautiful waterfalls. Enjoy the highlands with some memorable scenic walks and tea factory visits. You can expect to take a scenic train ride on the upcountry line.
In the afternoon head to Yala, a park renowned for a high concentration of leopards within its boundaries, for an optional safari experience.
On day 8 you will travel along the Southern Coastline to Hikkaduwa. En route, you will explore the Dutch Star Fort and visit the Humannaya blowhole and the Dondra lighthouse as you travel through the famed Southern coastal towns of Sri Lanka.
Enjoy some beach time and spend an evening exploring the Galle Fort with a resident. On day 10, in the evening head back to the airport in time for your return flight or your collection location on day 1. If you decide to spend a few days relaxing on the beach, then you have the option of extending your holiday. However, you will have to make the extension request at the time of making the booking.
